About
Dragonsmith Studios is a production company founded by Sean McGarry in 2017. It started making short films for competitions like the Prairie Grass Film Festival and the 48 Hour Film Project before making Infection, which was its first major competition film.

Dragonsmith Studios was based out of Sioux City, IA. In the fall of 2018 it is relocating to Atlanta, GA. The move will take place after the completion of the film Mirage.

Sean McGarry is the current head of Dragonsmith Studios, and also the groups head writer.
​
Dragonsmith Studios made it's first few films in partnership with Bishop Heelan Studios, the club that made short films at the high school McGarry was at when he started the company.
